Through this service, you can apply for notarising a contract whereby the debtor provides a certain asset to his creditor or another person as a guarantee of the latter’s right._

- Submit the application and required documents through any available channels.
- Pay the applicable fees once the request is approved.
- Verify your appearance before the Notary Public through any available means.
- Receive the notarised contract.

- For any contract/ document of less than AED 50,000 or of unspecified value: AED 500.
- For any contract/ document of more than AED 50,000 and less than AED 200,000: AED 1,000
- For any contract/ document of more than AED 200,000: 0.5% of the document value, capped at AED 20,000.

Rules and Conditions
- The document terms shall be clear and explicit, without any erasure or deletion.
- If the applicant is a representative of a principal, he should bring his original POA, comply with the powers granted to him by his principal, and have the right to appoint others.
- If the document is not in Arabic, it should be translated by a legal translation office certified by the Ministry of Justice.
- Any document issued abroad must be attested by the competent authorities (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
- The aforementioned mortgage contract applies to premium charge not mortgage insurance because it is related to real estate
- In consideration for the premium charge, there should be a fixed debt or a specific date when the mortgage is made.
- It is permissible for the mortgagor and mortgagee to agree on placing the pledge in the possession of a third (neutral) party.
- If the property subject to mortgage is a commercial premises, it must be publicised in newspapers for a period of 14 days
