This service enables case parties to challenge the CFI judgment issued on their case before the appeal court, whether the judgment was issued in their favour or against them; by requesting amendment or annulment of judgment._

- Submit the application and the required documents through available channels
- Pay the prescribed fees
- Get notification of the hearing date

- Emirates ID (original + copy) or any other proof of identity in exceptional cases
- In case of proxy, a notarised power of attorney (original + copy)
- Copies of the appeal notice for all litigants
- Copy of the first instance judgment

- AED 500 for all judgments issued by summary matters chambers and orders of the enforcement judge
- AED 100 for all judgments issued by summary matters chambers and orders of the enforcement judge in relation to personal status cases

Rules and Conditions
Special conditions / Important Notes- Appeal must be filed within the legally prescribed timeframes:
- 10 days after the delivery of judgement in presence, or of being duly notified.
- 7 days after the issuance of the enforcement judgement, or of being notified to the judgement debtor.
- The notice of appeal must include the details of the judgment to be appealed, details of litigants, reasons for appeal and claims to be decided.
- Presence of the person concerned or his attorney with an official POA.
- The statement of claim must clearly include litigants' information, details, and addresses.
